# Tornado 3000 Carlton Badminton · Tornado Updated on 2026-10-03 Version · 2 options Tornado 3000 Change - [Tornado 3000Amazon](https://racquetrank.com/ca/badminton/carlton/tornado-3000/) - [Tornado 5000Amazon](https://racquetrank.com/ca/badminton/carlton/tornado-5000/) The Carlton Tornado 3000 combines an aluminum and graphite frame, which the brand calls the Power Frame, with a full graphite shaft (FGS), which delivers more consistent power than the steel shafts of simpler rackets. It weighs 95 g, has a G5 grip, and the recommended maximum tension is 8.2 kg (about 18 lbs). It is a step up from steel recreational rackets: it is still tough, but the graphite shaft makes the swing faster and the shuttle comes off more easily. Recommended for beginners who already play frequently. Price shown at the store This store only shows the price on its own site.
