It is 620 mm, shorter than the adult one, which makes control easier for those with a smaller arm. It weighs 90 g, with an aluminum head and a stainless steel shaft, a setup that withstands floor hits and the falls common in learning. The head-heavy balance helps the child send the shuttle farther without much effort. It is a cheap, tough option for the first years of play.
