The balsa core gives a soft touch in passive play, but the carbon layers act quickly and the ball accelerates non-linearly. The low weight allows very fast swings and agile exchanges between forehand and backhand. It is very sensitive to the choice of rubber and works best with soft or medium-soft rubbers.
