The Carlton Solar 700 is a recreational racket with an aluminum frame, steel shaft, and external T-joint, a construction the brand highlights for its durability. It weighs 95 g, has a G5 grip, and the recommended maximum tension is 8 kg (about 17.6 lbs), compatible with casual-play strings. It is the kind of racket for school, beginner clubs, and the backyard, one that withstands knocks and heavy use without requiring care. It lacks the lightness and response of a carbon racket, but it costs less and serves well for learning the basic strokes.
