GoodUpdated on 2026-10-05

The Babolat WZRD pickleball paddle has a shield shape and 20 mm thickness, which turns the face into one big sweet spot. It gives extreme control and a unique feel for dinks, resets and drops, and still leaves power to close out the point. The face is 3K biaxial carbon, woven in a strategic pattern to increase flexibility and dwell time on the face, with the SMAC viscoelastic damper and RPM Max Grit technology for a lot of spin. It weighs 240 g and is aimed at advanced players and specialists.

How the RR Score was calculated

Criterion	Weight	Score
Specs	65%	68
Approval from players	35%	65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
