Pickleball· Max

Very goodUpdated on 2026-10-05

The CPX Max pickleball paddle is elongated and unibody thermoformed, with a thin 14 mm polypropylene honeycomb core (6 mm cells), the thinnest the brand makes, to return more energy on drives and put-aways. The face is T700 carbon with a friction finish, which bites the ball and generates spin. It measures 16.52 in by 7.48 in, with an aerodynamic channel in the throat that reduces weight, weighs 8.2 oz, has a 4.92 in handle and a 4.21 in grip.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%74
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
