The Xiom Aigis is a defensive blade (DEF+) with great counter-attacking capacity. Instead of the usual willow, it uses limba on the top layer of the 5-ply construction, to gain speed, and the inner plies were adjusted for defense. It weighs 83 g. It unites the stability of chop defense with the speed for all-round play, and the precise, secure touch suits even traditional defensive strategy. For the modern defender, it gives speed on forehand counter-topspin.
