The B 4000 is a basic racket from Yonex's B series, designed for recreation, schools and those who play now and then. It has an aluminum frame with a large ISOMETRIC head and a steel shaft, weighs up to 105 g (U class) and uses a G4 grip. The recommended stringing is 16 to 20 lbs and it comes already strung. The simple construction holds up well to heavy use and knocks on the floor, but the weight and the stiff shaft make the game slower than with a graphite racket.
