RR ScoreUpdated on 2026-10-02
Version · 3 optionsVoltric 5Change

The Voltric 5 is a Yonex attacking racket with the Tri-Voltage System, which places tungsten inserts at the 2 and 10 o'clock positions of the frame and in the T-joint. This concentrates mass in the head and allows thinner, more aerodynamic sides. It weighs 3U (85 to 90 g), has a heavy head (balance 8 on the Yonex scale), an isometric head and a high-modulus graphite shaft. Badminton Alley classifies the shaft as medium-stiff and the level as intermediate to advanced. Recommended for those who like to play from the back and want a heavy smash with a mid-priced Yonex.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore

Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
