The BTR 500 is the simplest intermediate racket from Sandever, Decathlon's beach tennis line. The structure blends 57% fiberglass and 43% carbon fiber, with an EVA core and a thick 24 mm profile, which helps the ball come off with little effort. It weighs 325 g, is 50 cm and has a balance at 25 cm (±0.7 cm), which makes the racket light and easy to handle. It is a good choice for players who have moved on from the beginner racket and want to gain power without moving to a stiffer carbon racket.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%62
Approval from players35%69

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.

Buyer reviews

Average of the ratings given at each store, weighted by how many reviews each one has.

Store ratings may reflect the store experience (shipping, service), not only the racquet.
