The CRBN¹ TruFoam Waves pickleball paddle is elongated with a long handle, for advanced players who attack points but still want touch. It has a 14 mm 100% TruFoam core, with no honeycomb or ribs, which gives a soft, controlled response and releases power when you accelerate, like the strings of a tennis racquet. The face is raw T700 carbon with fiberglass reinforcement. It weighs 7.5 to 8.0 oz, measures 16.5 in, has a 5.75 in handle and a 4.125 in grip.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%68
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
