The Magnus 3S 14mm is Tyson McGuffin's signature paddle in JOOLA's third generation. It has an elongated 16.5 x 7.5 inch shape with a shorter 5-inch handle, which puts more face at your disposal and favors those who play a one-handed backhand. It uses a Charged Carbon face, a 14 mm Propulsion core, an NFC chip, and a reinforced edge guard. It weighs 7.9 oz on average and has a 4.125 grip. It is an attacking paddle, with a lot of pop and spin. The original approval is from UPA-A.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%64
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
