The Black Ace LG, for long grip, was born from ProKennex's partnership with Daniel de la Rosa, the number 1 in racquetball and a PPA player. The face is a bit narrower than the Black Ace Pro's to lengthen the paddle to 16.4 x 7.3 inches, and the 5.87-inch handle accommodates the two-handed backhand well. It has a Toray T700 carbon face, an 11 mm polypropylene honeycomb core, a weight of 7.7 to 8.1 oz, and a 4-inch grip, with Kinetic and Air-O-Guard. It has been decertified by USA Pickleball for tournaments since July 2025.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%72
Approval from players35%67

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
