The LABS Project 008 marked Selkirk's debut in high-density PureFoam foam cores, which resist deformation and do not sink in with use. In the 16 mm Invikta version, the focus is control: the raw T700 carbon face generates spin, an extra foam wall at the edge enlarges the sweet spot, there is a lightweight edge guard, and the handle is octagonal. The elongated shape gives reach and the foam keeps the ball on the face longer, with light pop and a forgiving sweet spot. It is a modern control paddle, firmer and more durable than honeycomb ones.
