The Vanguard Power Air Epic brings the same construction as the Invikta to Selkirk's traditional shape, wider and shorter. The face is fiberglass and carbon, the honeycomb polymer core is 13 mm and the Edgeless DuraEdge edge does away with the guard. It is 15.75 x 8 inches, weighs 7.7 to 8.1 oz and has a 5.25-inch handle. The result is a quick paddle, with lively ball exit and a more generous sweet spot than the Invikta's, good for players who want power in doubles without losing maneuverability in quick exchanges at the net.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%59
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
