Versatile version of Vollo's new Impulse line, approved by the ITTF. The 7-ply, 6.6 mm blade combines a gray ginkgo face with a poplar core and comes assembled with 1.8 mm rubbers over 1.8 mm sponge, weighing about 150 g with a concave handle. According to the brand, ginkgo is more elastic and increases contact time with the ball, which makes it easier to spin the ball on serves and topspins and to alternate between blocking and counterattacking. It is a good choice for those who vary the pace of the game.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%52
Approval from players35%81

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.

Buyer reviews

Average of the ratings given at each store, weighted by how many reviews each one has.

Store ratings may reflect the store experience (shipping, service), not only the racquet.
