The first Blackout 285 is the light version of Solinco's power and spin racquet, with the same mold as the Blackout 300. It weighs 285 g unstrung and 301 g strung, has a 100 in² head, a 16x19 pattern, a 23.5/26/23 mm beam and a swingweight of 315. The 330 mm unstrung balance makes the racquet nearly neutral, which gives above-average stability for the weight. The 70 RA stiffness yields a lively response and lots of power, with Liquid Crystal Technology in the laminate to reduce vibration.
