The V-Cell 8 300g is the 2020 version of Volkl's all-round racquet, predecessor to the Vostra V8. It has a 100 in² head, an open 16x18 pattern, a 22/24/22 mm beam, 300 g unstrung and 312 g strung, with a balance of 5 points toward the handle. The low swingweight, at 312, makes the racquet very fast, and the 67 RA stiffness with the V-Cell material generates easy power and spin. In the Tennis Warehouse test it scored 81, with praise for ease of use and reservations about the consistency of the stringbed.

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
