The Shift 99 is the Wilson racquet line created for modern topspin players. It weighs 300 g unstrung and has a 99 in² head, a 16x20 pattern, a 23.5 mm beam and a swingweight of 317. What sets it apart is a construction that flexes more vertically, following the low-to-high motion of topspin, and is firmer on the sides to keep it stable. Stiffness is 67 RA, but it feels softer than the number suggests.

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
