The third generation of the Astrel, Yonex's line focused on comfort and power for recreational and doubles play. The Astrel 100 is 280 g unstrung and 295 g strung, with a 100 in² head, a 16x18 pattern, a swingweight of 297 and a stiffness of 68 RA. The wide 25.5 to 27.5 mm beam generates power with little effort, and the Vibslayer carbon with VDM helps filter vibration. It is the most controlled option in the Astrel line, for those who already have some fundamentals.
