The Percept 97 replaced the old Vcore Pro 97 and is Yonex's most sought-after control racquet. It is 310 g unstrung, with a 97 in² Isometric head, a 16x19 pattern and a thin 21 mm profile. The swingweight of 315 and the stiffness of 60 RA, one of the lowest on the market, make the response soft and give plenty of dwell time on the strings. The 310 mm balance (light handle) helps accelerate the head and maneuver at the net. It calls for full strokes, but returns precision and a feel of touch.

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
