The Carlton Vapour Trail 78 is the lightest version of the Vapour Trail line, at 78 g (5U). It has an Optimetric head, a flexible shaft, and high-modulus Japanese graphite construction, with technologies such as the TCS joint against twisting, Bi-Axial Dynamics in the frame, and Vectran in the shaft for more whip. It measures 675 mm, comes with a G4 grip, and the recommended tension ranges from 19 to 30 lbs. Racquet Guys describes it as a defensive, fast, easy-to-turn racket that gives power with little backswing. A good choice for those who play doubles and defend a lot.

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
