The Thruster Ryuga Metallic (2023) is the version of the Ryuga with Metallic Carbon Fiber in the frame, a fusion of thin metallic foil with carbon fiber that increases stability and effective weight on impact. It keeps the heavy head, the stiff 6.8 mm Pyrofil shaft and the frame with Hard Cored. It comes in 3U and 4U with a G5 grip and accepts up to 32 lbs in the 3U. In tests it is described as even heavier in the hand than the original Ryuga: it delivers a very strong smash, but is slow on defense and recommended only for those who already have technique and strength.
