The Astrox 2 is an entry-level Astrox made in Taiwan, light and with a Hi-Flex shaft, designed for those moving from the beginner to the intermediate level. It weighs 78 g on average (5U), has a graphite frame with tungsten, a graphite shaft with Nanomesh Neo and the Rotational Generator system, which distributes weight between the tip, the joint and the handle. Yonex recommends 19 to 24 lbs. It is fast on defense and generates power with little effort, but does not have the firmness of the more expensive Astrox models.
