The Yonex NanoRay 900 was designed to deliver faster smashes and drops at a sharper angle. The head's frame construction suppresses the shuttle's angle right after impact, instead of sending it upward. The Nanometric allows the racket to flex in the swing and hold the shuttle at impact, with very stiff upper and lower parts of the frame and a flexible middle part, for a faster downward trajectory. It has stiff flex, a weight of 86 to 89 g (3U) and an HM graphite shaft, X-Fullerene and Ultra PEF.
