The BTR 190 is the beginner racket from Sandever, Decathlon's beach tennis line. It is shorter than standard, at 47 cm, and light, at 315 g, which makes handling easier for beginners, young players and shorter players. The frame blends 44% fiberglass, 35% carbon and 21% EVA, with a 22 mm profile. The fiberglass makes the touch soft and helps forgive off-center errors. Those who progress quickly or are tall will miss reach and power.

How the RR Score was calculated

Criterion	Weight	Score
Specs	65%	73
Approval from players	35%	69

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.

Recommended for beginners only: the RR Score for this category goes up to 75. It may be great for what it is designed for, but it does not rank among the best in the sport.
