The Wilson Optix V2 Lite 2026 is a light, very forgiving padel racket, for players moving up from beginner to intermediate who want more maneuverability and a smooth, comfortable game. It weighs about 355 g, which makes handling and reacting at the net easier. The round shape favors a large sweet spot and consistent contact, the impact surface is fiberglass, with a soft feel, and the low-density foam increases forgiveness and absorbs vibration. The balance is low and the finish is smooth.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%78
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.

Fiberglass-only face (entry-level racquet): the RR Score for this category goes up to 82. It may be great for what it is designed for, but it does not rank among the best in the sport.
