RR ScoreUpdated on 10/02/2026

The JOOLA Essentials is the brand's entry-level paddle and one of the easiest to find in Brazil. It has a sandblasted fiberglass face, a 12 mm polypropylene honeycomb core and a traditional 39 x 20 cm shape, about 15.4 x 7.9 inches. It weighs 226.8 g on average, or 8.0 oz, and has a grip with a 10 cm circumference. The fiberglass gives good acceleration and ball exit, and the thin core keeps the paddle lively, which helps those learning the basic shots. It is approved by USA Pickleball.

How the RR Score was calculated

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
