The Blackstorm Carbon is the power model in Dunlop's Blackstorm line, more affordable than the FX. It has a 130 g frame, a 500 cm² head, a head-heavy balance, a 16x19 pattern and a length of 27 inches. The higher weight with the loaded head gives mass to the ball, and the tighter pattern helps with control. It is a good racquet for players moving up from aluminum racquets who want more stability.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%53
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
