The Yasaka Gatien Extra is a classic all-wood, 5-ply blade (typically anegre, limba, ayous, limba and anegre), with no carbon or composites. It has a soft, flexible touch, with precise vibration feedback, which makes it very sensitive on delicate touches. The moderate flex makes spin and looping easier, and the blade is forgiving in technical drills. It weighs about 84 g, with speed 83 and control 82. Performance depends heavily on the rubber.
