The Shift 99L is the lightweight version of the line Wilson created for modern spin play. It weighs 285 g unstrung and 301 g strung, with a 99 in² head and a 16x20 pattern, a swingweight of 311 and 5 pts handle-light balance. The frame flexes vertically to hold the ball on the strings and make topspin easier, while the 16x20 helps keep the ball in the court. The 68 RA stiffness gives a lively response. It is quick at the net and a good bridge for players who want to move up to the Shift 99.

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
