The Yonex VCORE 98 Tour (2026, 8th generation) is the heaviest racquet in the VCORE line, at 315 g, with a 98 in² isometric head and a spin-oriented 16x19 pattern, for advanced players who want maximum spin, control and stability. The redesigned aerodynamic frame increases swing speed, the top grommet allows more string movement and snapback, and the longer top of the beam enlarges the sweet spot. The Servo Filter, the 2G-Namd FlexForce and the VDM give precise touch and less vibration, with a head-light balance.

How the RR Score was calculated

Criterion	Weight	Score
Specs	55%	60
Approval from players	30%	76
Versatility	15%	66

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
