The Perseus Pro IV 14mm is the thinner version of Ben Johns' paddle in JOOLA's fourth generation and one of the brand's best sellers. It has an elongated 16.5 x 7.5 inch shape, a textured carbon face, a 14 mm Propulsion core, and Tech Flex Power technology, with foam between the frame and the edge guard to enlarge the sweet spot. It weighs 7.9 oz on average and has a 5.5-inch handle and a 4.125 grip. Compared with the 16 mm, it comes out faster and with more pop on drives and counterattacks.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%70
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
