The Scorpeus Double Vision 16mm uses the Scorpeus's standard, wide shape, at 16 x 8 inches, with an aramid and carbon face that gives a softer feel and impact resistance. Between the face and the 16 mm polypropylene honeycomb core sits SK Film, a foam layer that dampens vibration, and the thermoforming from the handle to the neck makes the paddle more stable. It weighs about 8.0 oz and has a 5.25 inch handle. It is a control paddle, good for defense and quick exchanges at the kitchen, with a USAP seal.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%61
Approval from players35%67

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.

Buyer reviews

Average of the ratings given at each store, weighted by how many reviews each one has.

Store ratings may reflect the store experience (shipping, service), not only the racquet.
