The RPM Friction Pro Elongated 16mm V1 pickleball paddle was developed with professional player James Ignatowich and is aimed at advanced play. It combines a CarbonBite surface, DwellZone sweet spot and Tri-Density Core to deliver spin, power and a wide sweet spot. The 16.5 in elongated shape gives reach on high balls and attacks, and the 16 mm core gives more forgiveness and control. The handle is 5.5 in, the grip is 4.125 in and the average weight is 7.9 oz, with a swingweight of 117.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%62
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
