The Selkirk AMPED Epic pickleball paddle has a traditional shape with a long handle and a large hitting area, aiming for a balance between power and control. The face is FiberFlex fiberglass, which generates spin and gives more control, and the core is X5 polypropylene honeycomb, which gives power. It measures 15.75 in tall by 8 in wide, with a 5.25 in handle, a 4.25 in grip and an EdgeSentry edge guard, with average weights of 7.2 to 7.7 oz (lightweight) or 7.8 to 8.4 oz (midweight). The long handle helps on two-handed shots.
