Considered the younger sister of the Hurricane Long 5, the Hurricane 301 has 5 wood plies and 2 aryl-carbon plies positioned next to the core, which only come into play on hard strokes such as counter-topspin. This way it delivers power on long strokes and a soft touch in short play. It is 5.8 mm thick and about 89 g. Megaspin classifies it as OFF, with speed 93 and control 65. It is a more affordable alternative to the more expensive inner-carbon blades.
