The Astrox 100ZZ is Yonex's most famous attacking racket, used by Viktor Axelsen. It has a heavy head, an extra-stiff shaft with Namd and the brand's thinnest shaft (Hyper Slim), which cuts through the air and returns a lot of energy on the smash. The 4U version weighs an average of 83 g, is 675 mm long and takes 20 to 28 lbs. It demands technique and arm speed: in experienced hands it delivers steep, heavy smashes, but it tires players who do not yet have a full swing.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%62
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
