The GR 303 (also sold as the GR 303i) is one of Yonex's most popular entry-level rackets, widely sold in kits and for beginners. It has an aluminum frame, a low-torsion steel shaft with stiff flex, an ISOMETRIC head and a 22 x 22 string pattern. It weighs about 95 to 98 g (U class), uses a G4 grip and has a standard length. It comes strung and is very durable. It is a racket for learning the basic strokes and playing for fun, not for those already seeking speed and precision.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%70
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.

Aluminum frame (entry-level racquet): the RR Score for this category goes up to 65. It may be great for what it is designed for, but it does not rank among the best in the sport.
