The Metalbone Team Light is the light entry point to the Metalbone line. It has a round shape, low balance and a weight of 345 to 360 g, which eases maneuvering and reduces arm fatigue. The fiberglass face and the EVA Soft Performance core make the touch soft with good ball exit, and the carbon frame with octagonal structure and Low Poly holds back twist. The Spin Blade Gritt surface is grippy and helps with spin. Great for those who are developing and want comfort and control.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%78
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.

Fiberglass-only face (entry-level racquet): the RR Score for this category goes up to 82. It may be great for what it is designed for, but it does not rank among the best in the sport.
