The C45 Aurelius ALW is Anna Leigh Waters' signature paddle in Franklin's C45 line. It has a traditional 15.7 x 7.9 inch shape, a 45-degree T700 carbon face with peel ply texture, a PowerFlex core with internal foam, and double-thermoformed unibody construction. The 14 mm version weighs 7.75 oz on average and sits between the more explosive 12.7 mm and the more controlled 16 mm. The short 5.1-inch handle and thin 3.9 grip make the paddle very fast in exchanges at the net.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%66
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
