Strengths and watch-outs

Pros

  • SST core of carbon chambers in place of polymer honeycomb, according to the brand
  • No edge guard, which tends to enlarge the usable face area
  • 14 mm core tends to give more ball exit than the 16 mm ones
  • Approved by USA Pickleball

Cons

  • 4 in grip may be thin for large hands
  • Carbon core usually requires adjustment for those who use honeycomb
  • Without an edge guard, the edge is more exposed to hits on the ground
Ideal for
Intermediate or advanced player who wants power with a solid, quiet feel and likes paddles without an edge guard.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%65
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
