The GX2 Power Hybrid is Gearbox's most powerful paddle within the rules, with the patented SST 2.0 CarbonRibCore core fully suspended and separated from the frame. This Toray T700 carbon core stores and returns energy strongly, extending contact time for more spin and precision. It has a raw woven 3K carbon face, a 16 mm core, a 16.2 x 7.8 inch hybrid shape, a weight of 8.0 oz and a 5.5 inch handle with a 4 grip. It has a break-in period, after which it gains speed and a larger sweet spot.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%59
Approval from players35%76

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.

Buyer reviews

Average of the ratings given at each store, weighted by how many reviews each one has.

Store ratings may reflect the store experience (shipping, service), not only the racquet.
