The Perseus Pro V Ben Johns 16mm is the fifth generation of the world number 1's signature paddle, in the Blaze Red design. It debuts the thinner, more flexible KineticFrame structure, which stores energy and releases it on impact to give power on drives and precision in directing the ball. It keeps the elongated, round-cornered Perseus shape, the 16 mm Propulsion Core, the foam wall on the edge and the textured carbon face, now thermoformed. It weighs about 229.6 g (8.1 oz), measures 16.5 x 7.5 in and has a 5.5 in handle.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%72
Approval from players35%66

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.

Buyer reviews

Average of the ratings given at each store, weighted by how many reviews each one has.

Store ratings may reflect the store experience (shipping, service), not only the racquet.
