The SLK Dauntless brought the full-foam core, previously limited to the LABS paddles, to the SLK line. The 16 mm SoloCore is PureFoam with an IsoFlex cutout, and the raw T700 carbon fiber face has a Raw Spin texture. The elongated version measures 16.5 x 7.45 inches, weighs 7.7 to 8.1 oz, has a 5.8-inch handle, an average swing weight of 118 and a twist weight of 6.9. The foam gives stability, a muted sound and durability, with more control than power, and the SLK-line price makes the paddle an entry point to foam cores.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%68
Approval from players35%73

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.

Buyer reviews

Average of the ratings given at each store, weighted by how many reviews each one has.

Store ratings may reflect the store experience (shipping, service), not only the racquet.
