The SLK Halo Power Max is the wide-shape version of the Halo Power, one of Selkirk's best-selling entry-level paddles. The face is raw T700 carbon fiber with a Raw Spin texture, the Rev-Core honeycomb polymer core is 13 mm and the EdgeSentry guard looks after the edge. It measures 16 x 7.85 inches, weighs 7.7 to 8.0 oz and has a short 4.85-inch handle. The thin core lets the ball come off fast and the Max shape offers the line's largest sweet spot, a combination that makes life easier for players who are improving and want power without losing forgiveness.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%62
Approval from players35%67

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.

Buyer reviews

Average of the ratings given at each store, weighted by how many reviews each one has.

Store ratings may reflect the store experience (shipping, service), not only the racquet.
