The SLK Halo Control Max combines the 16 mm Rev-Core honeycomb polymer core with the widest shape in the SLK line. The face is raw T700 carbon fiber and the edge has an EdgeSentry guard. It measures 16 x 7.85 inches, weighs 7.6 to 8.2 oz and has a 4.85-inch handle. The thick core makes the paddle soft and predictable, and the large sweet spot forgives off-center hits, so it works well for beginner and intermediate players who play doubles and want consistency on dinks, drops and returns.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%65
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
