The Franklin FS Tour Tempo 14mm is a wide-shape paddle, approved by USA Pickleball for tournaments. The surface is raw T700 carbon, with a natural texture that increases spin, and the 14 mm polymer core has an injected high-density foam perimeter, which enlarges the sweet spot. The core is one piece, fully wrapped in carbon, for more stability, and the average weight ranges from 8.2 to 8.5 oz.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%64
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
