The Pro Control Elongated is the control, elongated-shape version of Gearbox's Pro Series. The heart of the paddle is the 14 mm SST core, with vertically aligned carbon fiber tubes instead of polypropylene honeycomb, which gives a large sweet spot and excellent vibration damping. The face is raw Toray T700 carbon with TXR texture, the frame is edgeless and Smart Dampen technology softens the feel. It measures 16.5 x 7.375 inches, weighs 7.9 to 8.1 oz and uses a 5.5 inch handle with a 4 grip.

How the RR Score was calculated

CriterionWeightScore
Specs65%71
Approval from players35%65

The RR Score is not yet a precise figure. It summarizes the data we have today (specs and reviews) and changes as more information comes in. A low score does not mean the racquet is bad and does not reflect its technical quality: often it is just missing data or reviews. The specs combine several sources and may have discrepancies: check the manufacturer's website and the store where you buy.
