The Boulder Opal 14mm uses the same Next Gem platform as the Black Opal, but with more control: the power range was widened to give more forgiveness, dwell and dampening, and the pop became more predictable. It debuts the SharkSkin surface, with powdered aluminum oxide for spin and lasting texture. The core is 14 mm G4 Aerospace solid foam. Hybrid shape of 16.3 x 7.5 to 7.7 inches, 5.5-inch handle, 4 1/8 circumference and a weight of 8.0 to 8.3 oz, with a swing weight of 114 and a twist weight of 6.3.
